Description
A pair of Toby jugs* from the 1930s made in Czechoslovakia that have been turned into lamps. The colors are wonderfully vibrant and the figures are very well done. The pair of shades pictured are available for purchase for $20.
*A Toby jug is a pottery jug in the form of a seated person, or the head of a recognizable person (often an English king). Learn more about Toby Jugs here.
Condition: Good with a minor amount of crazing. There is a faint hairline crack along the side of one of the lamps which is very minor and does not affect the look or function.
Dimensions: 8½ inches from the bottom of the base to the top of the socket and the base measures 5 inches to the end of the handle.
